The Little Shop of Plenty
While so much health advice is telling us to quit sugar, our desire to enjoy sweet things does not disappear! Fortunately we have discovered that there are plenty of alternatives to those troublesome refined sugars, so we can create all kinds of healthier yet wonderfully satiating sweet bites and delectable desserts!
In this two and a half hour workshop we will explore the 'ins and outs' of choosing alternatives to cane and other refined sugars and how these can be applied to a range of recipes. Not just recipes to follow, but techniques you can use and adapt to your own tastes will include...
• superfood charged 'bliss balls' / bars as sweet nutritious snacks
• chia puddings as powerhouse breakfast to creamy dessert
• light & creamy mousse cakes
• decadent chocolate ganache dessert
This evening event will include lots of tastings of the recipes in progress as well as a raw dinner ‘box’, so you will be well fed! Please be sure to let us know prior to the day of the event if you have special dietary requirements / allergies. Printed notes & recipes will be provided and you are welcome to make your own notes and take photo’s... but no videos, please.
Doors will be open at 6pm and we’ll be kicking off the workshop at 6:30pm on the button so we can get through a huge line up of awesomely healthy food, so make sure you are on time!
