Presented by Rebecca Hall
Your gut microbiome is a community of microorganisms (bacteria, yeast, viruses, parasites) that share your digestive system. It plays an important role in health including assisting gastro intestinal tract and immune function, protecting you from diseases including coeliac disease, IBS, autoimmune disease, autism, depression, asthma and obesity.
Rebecca will discuss the relationship between dysbiosis and your health, how your microbiome can influence your eating behaviour and dietary choices, plus the best ways to look after your gut microbiome and what role diet, stress, sleep and probiotics can play in maintaining a healthy gut.
This evening event will include free flowing herbal infusions, a plant food dinner ‘box’
and some sweet nibbles, so you will be well fed and well informed!
Doors will be open at 6:30pm and the talk will start at 7:00pm,
so make sure you’re here on time to get yourself a cuppa and a good seat!
