Getting the Most out of your Dehydrator

Presented by Kim Bourne,
The Little Shop of Plenty

The dehydrator is the raw foodie’s equivalent to an oven — an invaluable tool to take raw food preparation beyond simple salads and freezer brownies. If you have invested, or are thinking about investing in a dehydrator to take your raw food repertoire to the next level, this workshop will take you through the possibilities of what you can really achieve with this amazing resource!

In this two and a half hour workshop we will explore the benefits of low temperature food preparation, experience how it can enhance the beautiful, natural flavours of plant food and create delectable healthier alternatives to baked and cooked foods.

Not just recipes to follow, but techniques you can use and adapt to your own tastes will include...

  • succulent marinated vegetables
  • crispy activated nuts & seeds
  • pizza bases, breads & crackers
  • crepes & wraps
  • amazing fruit jam
  • easy fudge cookies

This evening event will include lots of tastings of the recipes in progress, so you will be well fed — dinner is covered!

Do please let us know if you have special dietary requirements / allergies.
Printed notes & recipes will be provided and you are welcome to make your
own notes and take photo’s... but no videos, please.

Cost: $85
