The Low Tox Home

Presented by founder, pharmacist
and low tox expert Cara Little

Cara will shed some light in her fun filled and engaging way on:

  • The clean freak phenomena. Why are we scared of germs and how is being too clean a problem?

  • The wonder of gut health, a key to wellbeing and the link with our immune system.

  • What we are currently faced with in the market with cleaning and body products.

  • What research is showing us about household chemicals and how they affect us.

  • What should we be looking at in our products?

  • Quick tips and health hacks to drop your chemical load at home quickly.

Cara has been in the health and wellness industry for over 10 years. With an extensive knowledge of common health issues and treatments, natural therapies, gut health and living healthier in our homes she loves nothing more than empowering people to achieve a balanced life. Her research into asthma, allergies and autoimmune diseases led her to discover the importance of gut health and adopting a more holistic approach to treating health conditions. This inspired her to develop the lifestyle brand Pure Home Body in 2015 – a pharmacist formulated, plant based, non-toxic line of home and body care for the whole family. Cara remains focused on delivering a key message that health starts in the home, should be guilt free, achievable and suited to one’s family needs. Her vision is to inspire and educate families to make better choices about products used in their home, and where possible to steer towards a more natural approach. Cara has been featured in The West Australian, is a regular to Channel 9’s The Pulse and has appeared in numerous radio stations around Australia talking about toxins and giving health advice for the home.
